update on the kids

just wanted to let you know that the kids are doing great! Bradyn's doctors appt went really well. The doctor said that since he is young and in good health he should heal just fine on his own. Brett's seatbelt burn is just about all scabbed over. he still has one spot on his neck that is raw, but overall it looks good and he feels much better. my little diva... leave it to her to need to airlifted to the hospital (she couldn't just ride in the ambulance like the boys - oh no, always bigger and better for her haha) well, she is just fine. she came out of the accident with just minor scapes and some pretty nasty bruises.

I know just how blessed we are that they are all alive and basically healthy.

Bradyn had a car accident this morning. Brett and Reagan were in the car with him. Everybody is okay - really shaken up, but okay. Bradyn is not sure what happened. They were coming home from Greers Ferry, they had been at the lake with some of our friends. He said that all of the sudden the steering wheel felt like it locked up and he veered off of the road. He hit a ditch culvert and the car flipped. Witnesses behind him said that they went airborn, landed and rolled over. Bradyn had to kick out his car window to get out of the car. He then went to get Brett and Reagan and couldn't get to them b/c Reagan was near the window. He went around to the back and crawled in and got them. He was SO brave! Everyone on the scene said that he was awesome taking care of his brother and sister. It was the phone call that I have dreaded getting since Bradyn started driving. Please keep us in your prayers as the kids recover while I thank God for having His watchful eye on them. This could have much, much worse. Bradyn has 2 compression fractures in his lower back and we are going to make an appt with the neurosurgeon on monday for an evaluation. I will keep you posted.
